Amy Khor on food safety and hygiene

Senior Minister of State for the Environment and Water Resources Amy Khor gave details of checks and inspections of food operators in Parliament on Monday (Jan 14). She was replying to questions from four MPs on the recent spate of food poisoning cases, and what authorities are doing to strengthen surveillance and enforcement in the industry.

Dr Khor said the National Environment Agency will also improve its website and the myENV app to make it easier for consumers to check food operators' hygiene records.
